There is truth in the statement "you can be anything you put your mind to" and it has been proven many times over.

Take a moment and look at the simple inspiration that was given by Gene Roddenberry, the creator of Star Trek. From this late 60's show, we move through our lives because people brought some of the 60's fantasy technology and brought it into reality.

The Flip Cell Phone (The Communicator)
The Bluetooth Headset (Lt. Uhura wore one)
The automatic door (every room they walked into, the door 'swooshed' open and closed behind them)
Video Conferencing (the good and bad guys on the big screen)
Translation Software (speaking with other 'beings' without knowing their language)
Holodeck (Virtual Reality)
High Pressure Shots (instead of needles)
The Phaser - (the stun gun)
The Vending Machine - (providing food on demand)

All these things came from a thought, it was made to look real through TV magic and it inspired a worthy ideal, something to progressively realize in the minds of youth watching the show and within 15 years we had the cell phone, when technology got smaller, we had the flip phone shortly after that.

I am not suggesting that you watch a sci-fi show to come up with your worthy ideal, but I am suggesting that you can accomplish anything you can put your mind to and do it with the mindset of "how can this be done" and then figuring out a way.

Your success is just as far away as the amount of thought and effort you put into it.

Your success can be achieved by simply defining your worthy ideal and then progressively realizing it.

Happiness is being on your death bed, knowing that you have lead a fulfilled life, you have left a legacy behind that will continue to be fulfilled by your children and grandchildren and you have memories where you experienced life, the way it was intended, with the people you love the most, not the people at your job that you had to spend time with.

RSS Feeds: Using Atom with Blogger or XML with any number of other sites, people can "subscribe" to your updates, this way they will not need to find your site again, rather, they can just check their feed reader and get all the latest updates.

How Could You Do That?

Recently, I started marketing my fourth business, The Reverse Funnel System and had some feedback from fellow existing business associates, friends and family, asking me...

How Could You Do That?

Their paradigm is one of an employee, they cannot understand how it is that I can "focus" on more than one business at a time and others have the idea that it does not show loyalty to any particular company.

The reality is, you can truly on "focus" on one thing at a time. For example, if you are on the phone while driving, you are either focusing on the phone, or driving. If you are reading a book about 18th century architecture and listening to a CD on how to speak Spanish, you can only focus on one or the other.

The reality is, you can do all of these things, but can only truly do them well if you are doing one at a time.

That being said, you can go from one to the other and still be 100% successful at doing all of them; this is best done if you are not trying to "multi-task," as that does not allow you to complete your thoughts, or stay on task to get things done.

Next, I am going to share something with you now and I do not want you to take this the wrong way. I am not loyal to any one company! There is no marriage here, no contract signed, I am an entrepreneur and as an entrepreneur, my job is to find an need and fill it!

Of course I am loyal to my family, my friends, my business associates and any individual I come in contact with who deserves my loyalty, but I am not loyal to any one company in terms of exclusivity.

That would be foolish.

Why?

I am here to help as many people as possible and to make as much money as I can, as fast as I can and if I tie myself to any single company, I am limiting my ability to earn. to limit my earning ability increases my chance of failure because I would be placing all my eggs in one basket.

More importantly, if I only represent one company, product, or service, then I may as well be an employee, working to make the owners of the company rich, falling to the mercy of the industry I am in, the product line I am selling and a marketplace that is really a moving target.

Being self employed gives me the latitude to get more done in less time; these businesses only take a handful of hours to develop and maintain if you use the systems they operate under, so that leaves me with more time to earn more money, it allows me to focus on more than one thing and do it well.

Also, If I am only focusing my time in one area, then I am only appealing to one audience; I have way too much to offer, to limit the good that I can do for more people by just working within one vertical market or niche.

Here is how I have diversified myself:

Business 1: Liberty League International I run this on about 16 hours per week, not bad!

Business 2: Effective Marketing Training Series, this took a bit of time to setup, but not now; the training videos are done and the membership site is established, it comes down to marketing and maintenance about 4-6 hours per week.

Business 3: Coached To Success; being a Success Coach, following the 90 day program laid out in the Beyond Freedom program that is included has been a brilliant way to get paid over $400 per hour for my time. This is about 2 hours per week.

Business 4: The Reverse Funnel System; this has to be one of the easiest businesses, with this I only market it about 6-8 hours per week, this system is so complete, it provides incredible lead capture pages, has an auto responder system built in, with a broadcast email feature (yes, I market my other three businesses to the leads generated here) and simply, I get paid $1,000 commissions, in 95% of the cases without ever speaking to someone myself first.

All tolled, that is 32 hours per week, to put that into perspective, I used to spend 7.5 hours per week driving to and from my job, now I walk upstairs to my office. I would take about an extra 2 hours per week just getting ready (suit/tie) for work vs jeans and a t-shirt. So, in perspective, considering that I used to work between 50 - 70 hours per week in my job, plus travel time, I am way ahead and I can get more done in less time.

You do the math...

My 4 Businesses = 32 hours per week

My 1 Job Used To Take = 60 - 80 hours per week

How could you do that, they ask? How could I not do that?

That being said, many people tend to stop at, or even before this point because they believe that they cannot make more money due to a lack of education, or because of where they live, their work experience, their family background, or whatever other convenient excuse they choose to buy into.

That is fine, if they want to give up on their lifestyle dreams that quickly, they do not deserve to have them. Besides, we need people to do the mundane jobs out there and this is why we will never be faced with a problem where "everyone will do it."

We simply cannot and should not control the outcome, if we are controlling the outcome, then we are not allowing people to express their free will, we are forcing, or manipulating the sale. As soon as someone feels that they are being pressured into a decision, or that they are being "sold" they will run away unless they have already decided to buy, even then, they may find someone else to do business with.

Remove from yourself the idea that you have to control the outcome, that you have to be a great "closer" of the deal, and more sales will happen as a result.

When people decide to buy, they will buy, not because they were sold.

Now, in some cases you will sell them, but this is when "buyers remorse" can kick in and the deals get reversed, or the future customer (the person who will buy from you again) is lost forever.

Things We Dream About...

The things we think about, the reason(s) why we are doing what we are doing:

• Goals
• Visualizations
• Meditation
• Affirmations
  

Now, if you are thinking that these four items are critical to our success, you are partly correct.

Goals, Visualizations, Meditation and Affirmations are all incredibly wonderful and powerful things, as long as they are used in a useful way, but THEY DO NOT PRODUCE RESULTS if you are just living in La-La Land!

It is critical that you have Goals, as a man without vision will perish. These are simply things that you have decided to go for, but once they have been specifically written down and a date set, just review them occasionally throughout the day to remind you to do the things you have control over, do not spend all your time dwelling on and dreaming about the future.

Visualizing is a very powerful tool; I would encourage you to direct your visualization towards perfect practice of the things you can control, as studies have shown, that will get you 97% closer to attaining your goals.

For example, imagine yourself, in perfect practice having a conversation with a complete stranger, you are totally present, listening, really hearing what is being said, not just the words, but the truth behind the words. Understanding this persons reasons for wanting to improve their life and realizing that you have a solution to assist them in reaching their goals.

If you had the pain relief that someone desired, would you not give it to them?

Imagine your solution being so willingly accepted and acted upon that you never had to say a single convincing word, you simply allow this person to follow the natural and logical steps to solving their own problems based on your referral to the solution. If they want pain relief, they will take it from you, not because you sold them on it, but because they acted on free will.

That is how you can use visualization to your benefit, on the things you can control.

Meditation will serve you if you really focus on quieting your mind, the idea is to truly think about nothing. Sometimes meditation gets confused with visualization.

When you are simply paying 100% attention to just your breathing (or some other form of focus) then you are getting strong in developing, or flexing your focusing muscles.

As for Affirmations tell yourself that you are good at the things you can control, not that you have a million dollars, as that will lead to a vision that you have a million dollars and when you realize that you don't (when reality kicks in) you will be depressed.

Affirming "every day in every way I am getting better and better at conversations with strangers" will take you further than some dream land affirmations.

The secret ingredient to succeeding at the things I identified, as the things that you can control, is Action!

So go out and take action in the things you can control and be marveled at the results you will have in your business and in your life.

Getting Customers Is Your Job, Keeping Them is The Job Of Customer Service... Long Term, Customer Service Defines Success!

Understand that more money is made in repeat business, from happy customers, then new business ever will.

When you are defining the success of your business, think carefully on how you will service your clients.

If you are providing a service, then be sure to provide service beyond the expectations of your customers; one key is to have knowledgeable customer service reps that can get the answers to your customers questions and can find solutions to their problems.

Let's face it, questions and issues come up; it is in how these are handled and how quickly that will define the long term relationship.

For example, I was doing a marketing campaign for the Reverse Funnel System and the Marketing Company I had hired to expose my marketing website was showing an incredible difference of website views to what the funnel was showing, here is how it looked:

Starting A Home Business Is Just Stupid! Right? Wrong!

Let's see if there is a better solution than "just try another one..."

If we know that none of these home businesses work, why do we keep looking at them?

It is always the same, find a company with a product that you can believe in, start to tell the world about it, move from the honeymoon stage to the, "I guess this really takes work" stage and then decide that this is not for you and you quit.

This is a vicious cycle that is repeated time and again; yet this Multi-Billion (yes Billion) dollar industry keeps going and going with the promise of easy money.

Let's look at what is wrong and what is right...

The biggest reason most home business entrepreneurs do not succeed is they really want to buy into the idea that they are basically "get rich schemes" although they try really hard to stay away from anything that would ever seem to suggest that.

What ends up happening is the "lottery mentality" kicks in, they believe that they will be the next "instant success.

Not long after people start in business they find out that there truly is a requirement for a consistent work effort and this work effort will be required to be put in until you decide to stop making forward movement within the opportunity.

Now, this should not be a really big problem (having to do some work) but for most people, the even bigger problem is that the skills required to really be successful do not come easy.

Some of the necessary skills are ones like developing the Art Of Promotion; one needs to become quite proficient in promoting their opportunity to both warm and cold markets. For the most part, the quiet "mouse type" of people tend to get buried in this area and unless they land a whale, they are done.

You also need to typically get really good on the phone; mastering the essence of a script and communicating your message enough, but also finding out enough about the prospect, so they have an emotional buy-in for what you are doing is important enough to them, for them to want to do it themselves.

Along the way, the rejection can be really tough and when you do not make any money, the people who are telling you "that will never work" start to haunt you and you begin to believe they are right.

But if rejection does not wipe you out, here is what tends to kill people in the long run, even those that have the six figure months...

Duplication, or lack there of, eventually is the kiss of death, as one can only step hard on the gas and hold their foot to the floor for so long. As soon as you take your foot off the gas pedal, you are done, momentum is lost and your business goes bye-bye!

I have been in the Home Business industry for over two and a half years, I have made $25,000 in a single month, I have had $15,000 days, but the lack of momentum due to burnout tends to keep massive and long term success from the door.

Hard Work Is Not Smart Work - 5 Pointers To Get More Done In Less Time

Here is a couple of ways to look at this:

Right now I am taking flying lessons to become a private pilot (I do not like to have my shoes x-rayed) and as I learn about the theory of flight, I learn this point; the faster (harder) I fly the plane, the less efficient it becomes, there is a bell curve to this where the right speed and power will allow me to fly along the most comfortably, with the least amount of stress on me and the plane.

Driving a car is not much different, the harder you push it, the faster you wear it out, the more money it costs you and when you consider the extra "down time" that comes from all this stress, it just makes sense, that driving it with better flow, you would be better off.

So here are some pointers to get more done in less time:

1. "Know where you are going." Set yourself some fun goals that inspire action, goals that are specific; if you say you want a plane, there is a huge difference between a Cessna 172 and a Bowing 747. If you want a "new car", there is a huge difference between a new Kia and a new Bentley.
   
2. "Go with the flow." Allow yourself to move with the moments and make the minor course adjustments required to ensure you are going in the right direction towards your goals.
3. "Give yourself some time." While it has been a couple of years since I have been in morning traffic, I clearly remember the guy who would "gun it" when the light turned green and "slam on the brakes" at the next intersection. He (and there were lots of 'He's', I was a 'He' at one time") would look at me with frustration, as I would always be moving right past him through the intersection (he just raced to), at full speed shortly after the light turned green because I decided to time the lights; go seemingly a bit slower in the middle, but I never had to stop (lose momentum) and start again along the way. The ride was much more enjoyable and I used less resources to get to my destination. This would allow me to think more about my day and less about "trying to make the light and all the jerks on the road holding me back."
   
4. "Enjoy the ride." Relax! Last time I checked, you only get one trip, so make the ride enjoyable for yourself. You can work really hard and get nowhere, or you can work smart, move along at a great pace, see what is coming with enough time to make intelligent course adjustments allowing yourself the opportunity to make more money with less effort.
5. "Know the impact you have on others." Leadership is an interesting thing; the people doing less towards the thought of "leading" tend to lead, as they are not looking behind to see if people are following them. Instead, they are looking ahead to ensure they are getting to where they want to go. The best way to be a leader, is to set an example of being the best at what it is you want to lead at. When you are great at it, then you are worthy of following. Leaders do not try to lead, leaders take action and do what needs to be done to get the results they have set out to get and by default, they become leaders.
   

So we talked about planes and cars a bit to get my point across, but hopefully you go the message.

Learn How To Develop A 101 List Of Things To Do Before You Die

You may have heard about doing something like this before, but have you actually sat down and done it yet?

If you have, then congratulations, you are likely having great fun going through the list, checking things off and doing more in your life than most people would get done if they had ten lives.

If you have not, then understand that this article is timely for you, as it is never too late to start your list, unless you are dead, or dying soon, I might then refer you to find an article on the 10 things to do before you die, if you snooze, you lose.

The reality is we all die at some point, nobody knows when, or how, so if you want to look back on your life and see it as a life full of accomplishment and excitement, with no regrets, then it is time to put pen to paper.

Alright, now that I have likely hurt the feelings of some people and excited others, the underlying message here is Take Action Now.

This exercise is easy, take about 4-5 lined sheets of paper, number 1 – 101 down the side and at the top write “I am so happy and grateful now that I have a list before me that I will complete before I die.” and begin writing down whatever comes to mind.

Be sure to give yourself the time and space to get this list done, if you get stuck at 30-40 (as I did), then come back to it, leave it in a conspicuous place, like your fridge or something, with a pen attached, so you will keep filling in the blanks. Start planning completion dates for the most important things on your list.

Be specific, if you intend on traveling the World before you die, then pick the first destination, you want to know the Continent, Country, State/Province, City, Town and even the Street you wish to stay on.

The reason you want to be specific is this will develop an awareness and then every time a travel deal, atlas, globe in a store, presents itself in front of you, it will have you thinking about your goal of traveling to this destination.

This awareness brings images to mind, ideas of what you would do when you get there, it should make you smile. If you find yourself realizing that you have not done anything towards attaining your goal, hello, if you do not start now, you never will get any closer.

If you have too many obstacles in your way (not enough money, never would get time off work, kids are too small, kids are too big, have to save for their college, etc) then it is time for you to get your priorities straight; if you are not happy and truly living your life, then what is the point. Do what you can to make yourself happy, sell your goal to those around you so they will support you towards attaining it.

If the people around you tell you things like… “you are crazy,” “you will never get that done,” “you are only going to set yourself up for being depressed,” then it is time to get some new people around you because the people who will not support you on your dream will only hold you back from attaining it.

I have added a new spin to the idea of the 101 list. Every time I cross something off the list, I add something to it; I always have something to do and I plan on dying with 101 things on my list, but also having completed hundreds of things that I wanted to do over the years.

Life is full of possibilities and potential and until you stake your claim on what you are going to do in your life, you never will get it done. I’ll tell you what, if you look at your list rather than the television and take some action towards checking something off the list, you will be much more likely to get it.

So, now is the time, go grabs some paper and a pen, start writing and planning the rest of your life. Remember, if you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

Effective Marketing 101: Are You Taking Effective Marketing Action?

Sometimes All You Are Missing Is A Good Idea

Keep plugged in my friend, it is hope that will keep you on course. Right now it would seem to me that all you are missing is a good idea. I would encourage you to sit down in a quiet place, then think about some things that make you happy, when you “feel good” then begin to think “if I could do something that would make me feel good and make great money doing, what would it be?” Allow every idea to flow, when one comes into your mind that feels good and seems to stick, no matter what it is, know that it is possible for you to materialize that.

Next, be in a place where you are “grateful in advance” for the things that you are “in the process of attaining”. You see my freind; you get what you focus on and if you focus on what you don’t want, like having lost one job and “failed since” this will continue to happen to you until you begin to focus on what you would truly like to have.

I would encourage you to write down your “Ultimate Day” this would be the best day of your life yet to come, be detailed and know that you can be, do and have anything that you want. Allow yourself to experience in your mind having attained this, live in the moment. If you choose to focus on your ultimate day, each morning and night, then your subconscious mind will go to work to make your ultimate day materialize. Your subconscious mind does not know the difference between what is real and what is not, it only goes by the feelings that you keep presenting thinking that you want more of that, good or bad.

Why Success Is A State Of Mind And Know How To Attain It

If you have always wanted to find out the reason people who are deemed to be successful tend to talk a bit differently than most other people? It is because they understand why success is a state of mind and know how to attain it.

So if you look at that again, it really just comes down to attaining a mindset of success.

Successful people think from the end, they imagine the outcome and work backwards from there. It is not enough to just think it, you have to believe it.

This is why you will hear successful people talking about the way things are coming together for them with respect to their future, why they sound so confident about it. You have no choice but to believe them because they are just so sure about it.

Today, my wife and I had just finished looking at one of the next homes we intend on picking up soon and we were energetically discussing who would be in what room, I was claiming my office, etc. The kids were wondering what all the fuss was about because we were not moving in yet, we have not even put in an offer.

The point is, successful people already believe they have what they intend on attaining in life and talk about things with passion. They can even get in to a bit of an argument about how it is going to be when they have it, not if they are going to have it.

Get it?

Like writing the last chapter of the book first, then creating the back story to get there.

"Sitting on the beach, on the Private Island that we own, with all of my friends and family around, I realize that it was all worth it."

Maybe your ending is a bit different, but the point is, you will not get to where you intend to go in life, if you have no clear and specific destination in mind.

Successful people know that they have to visit the end of the story daily, with the belief they have already attained it, to remind them of what will happen between now and then, in order to put priority to the choices they make on a daily basis.

It is like someone deciding to just get in a car and driving, without a destination in mind; there is no purpose and they will just be taking on whatever comes their way. Eventually they will run out of gas and wherever the journey ends, it just ends.

You are meant for greatness on this planet, you are meant to have a purpose, you are meant to make a difference. I may not even know you and I know this to be true for you.

So, I do not hope you will do something with your life, I expect you will!

You have no excuse now, because you know why success is a state of mind and know how to attain it.

Sounds easy...Make Money...then why is it then that so many people have such a hard time doing this simple thing?

Or do they?

In one way or another, everyone does make money and in some cases, some people have money made for them.

Money made for them?

We look at people that are "feeding off the system" or they are "on welfare" or "social assistance" and feel that they are just sponging off of society, right?

What if this was actually very close to a millionaires mindset?

WHAT?

Yea!

Here is the thing, the difference and the only difference is that millionaires are giving more service and as a result, they are being compensated by society.

So it would then stand to reason that the people in the middle are the fools, right?

Yep!

Millionaires understand how to have money made for them, it is called leverage, they are in the position of service, offering a product, service, opportunity, leadership or any combination of these and they get paid by the same society that pays the people that we see to be sponging.

Do I endorse Welfare or Social Assistance, yes I do. I endorse it when the person in receipt of it does not have the means to provide for themselves. Everybody else that is on it just needs to understand that they are meant for greatness. I also believe that people working in a job are actually not in a much better place. They are dependant on a pay check every couple of weeks, most are unhappy (I understand it to be 90 percent) and as a result, they do not put in 100% to their job. Anything less than 100% means they are getting compensated for something that they did not do.

So here it is, make money, discover and then do something you are genuinely happy doing. Yes, it may start off uncomfortable; you may have to fight for it, but is your happiness and your greatness not worth fighting and taking risks for? Why February Has Only 28 Days (Unless It Is A Leap Year)

I have discovered that there are two answers, both answers are right, however they are completely different.

Having breakfast with the family this morning, we began to talk about birthdays (birthday season is shortly upon us) and then everyone started counting out how many days they had before their big day.

Some went to the calendar, some used their hands, then my daughter Kassidy began to demonstrate that she knew and easy way to determine the months that had 31 days from the months that did not.

Putting her hands together as two fists, she began to count the knuckles as months with 31 days and in between the knuckles for months without 31 days. As she reached the last knuckle on her left hand, she finished with the index finger knuckle, "July," then she resumed with the index finger knuckle on her right hand, "August," then she carried on and finished out her demonstration.

At that point, (being the wise-guy) I asked her a question;

"Why does February only have 28 days?"

Now, she is 8 and I did not expect a perfect explanation, but she nailed it! As an adult, I realized that the answer that I was looking for would have involved history, going back to Julius Caesar, getting into a big, long winded explanation. Her answer was genuine, accurate and beautifully simple;

"Because it is a short month."

We all burst out laughing at how simple and yet how accurate the answer was; it was funny because she was so matter of fact.

After congratulating her on a perfect answer, we began to talk about how we (adults) tend to add so much unnecessary detail, when a simple answer is all that is really necessary.

Ever wonder how kids get to move through their day so happy and care-free, well, they are not overwhelmed with coming up with unnecessary details.

I would challenge you to start to think in simple terms too, you will attain success much faster.

Life can be simple if you allow it to be.

What Makes You Different?

What makes me different is that I have chosen to be successful. I have found something that I enjoy doing and I choose to be consistent at doing it.

I find that consistency is key, but that is has to be combined with a few other things.

I have to forgive myself for when I make a mistake; for as long as the mistake was made with the honest intention of it moving me towards success, then I have been honest to my goals and my efforts were not just a waste of time.

I learned from Andy Andrews, author of The Travelers Gift that I should not only persist, but that I should persist without exception. It is the "without exception" part that allows me to maintain a constant focus towards attaining every goal that I set out for myself that ensures that I succeed every time.

I learned from Neale Donald Walsch, author of Conversations With God, that my purpose in life is to get to know who I am. When I know "Who I Am", I am able to navigate my life towards the course of my purpose understanding the myself and my being is a key element to maintaining focus on my purpose.

I have learned from countless sources that if I allow myself to become quiet, to really get to know my true being, again, knowing "Who I Am," it creates an inner peace that is outrageously attractive to people I come in contact with. In fact, I like and learn from every person that I meet and every time both the person I have met and myself are enriched by the experience.

I choose not to judge people; as every person can provide for me a lesson to assist me in knowing the type of person that I want to be by demonstrating qualities that I wish to or wish not to mirror. Because I know Who I Am, I am able to accept people for who they are and this frees me from stacking them next to my beliefs, morals, etc. After all, I learned something about myself; I am not perfect, but that does not stop me from persisting towards that end.

The cool thing is, I am able to get so much more out of life because of my ability to let go of the outcome of any conversation, meeting, or event. I am free to experience everything there is to experience without judgement and this allows me to be present in every conversation.

So, if we talk, you will likely find that I am probably one of the "best listeners" you have ever experienced. You will soon know that I hear the words that you are not saying, ultimately allowing you to be completely understood.

I know at this point you are wondering what to think of all this, well, you can learn from all, part or none of what I wrote. The choice is yours, I only wrote this because it is what came up for me.

So you can begin to Deserve Money, you have to De-Serve Money and focus on Serving people.

If you are only fixated on money, you are focusing on, what is ultimately a tool, a tool that is designed to serve you as a reward for the service that you freely give.

The way to earn the tool (money), to truly deserve it, you must learn to freely serve people around you.

It is great to live you life in service and with absolute gratitude for being in the position to serve.

What does this mean?

Well, lose the attitude of "What is in it for me?" and start to ask the question; "What is in it for others?" then your life will change.

You have likely heard the saying "It takes money to make money", well in fact, "it takes service to make money".

You are never rewarded with money for nothing, you may see some people that appear to be instantly rewarded, you have likely called these people lucky, or something like that. The fact is that as long as they attained their money because they have been in service, then they will always have it.

The people that have money but do not serve, usually lose it just as fast a short time later. This is where the "Easy come easy go" saying comes in.

Plan To Give Half Of What You Make This Year

Now, plan to give Millions of dollars and guess what, you get to keep half.

If you decide to make money, that is great, you will likely receive it. If you decide to make money and are willing to give a great amount of it away, to better those around you, then you are sure to receive it and more.

I once heard, "Before you can save the World, you have to save yourself first." this is a very true statement. You see, if you are in a great financial space, then you are able to give in an effort to "save the World". If you are broke, then you are just part of the problem.

Understand this, if you believe that "money is the root of all evil", then you are likely broke and using that as your excuse to keep you from stepping out of your comfort zone, taking a risk and actually doing something to contribute to the World.

There is no person or religion in the World that wants you to be broke, having you become wealthy, self sufficient and a contributor to society is what will make a difference, so make a decision to become a multi-millionaire that gives away millions upon millions of dollars to whatever charity, organization or ministry that you desire, then and only then are you truly contributing to the world.

That is not to say that your efforts in volunteering your time is not a good idea, or that it does not make a difference. I volunteer once a week to drive Cancer patients to the Cancer treatment center. I do this on Friday afternoons and I am able to do this on a Friday afternoons because I make enough money Monday to Thursday that I do not have to work on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

I have also become a solution to the problem of too many cars on the road; now I work from home and my commute is to the coffee machine in my kitchen instead of 45 minutes on the highway in traffic. "One Less Car" does not have to mean take a bike to work.

So, decide to think and act differently in your life to get different results, after all, doing the same thing over and over expecting different results is the definition of insanity.

Success is a choice, so choose well.

I used to work in a job that kept me from my family for 70 hours per week. I was overweight and unhappy with my life. Sure I was making great money and my lifestyle will alright, but my quality of life was not up to par.

So I made a choice; I decided to receive abundance in my life and start what I believe to be the best home based business available. I wanted to experience true abundance in my life, I wanted to be an entrepreneur. There were vacations I wanted to take, riches I wanted to have and happiness that I knew was available to me all I had to do was make a decision to make some easy money and work at home to attain the wealth that I knew was available in network marketing.

Having money in your life effortlessly and in abundance or, having to suffer by it in your life is a decision.

To have money, I have to believe that I deserve money.

In order to develop my belief, I have to know that it is attainable for me.

To know that it is attainable, I only need to know that others have made money before me.

I know that others before me have made money because of what it has provided for them, the houses, cars, boats, trips, etc.

Does money buy happiness?

Well no... but it does take care of most of the things that create unhappiness and stress.

Every time I had had money troubles, it was because I was thinking about needing money, not what money provides. If I am feeling desparate for money, that is suffering that it does not want to be around, so it stays away from me.

Think about it, would you want to be around someone that cries, complains, pines about you?

Heck no!

Neither does money!

Money wants to be in a fun and friendly environment, and place that it is welcome. Money is a tool that can provide for you whatever your heart desires.

Are you into charity? Would you like to contribute enough money to find a cure for something? How about build houses for the poor, or feed a hungry country?

Well create a happy welcome environment in your life that welcomes money into it with open arms and wallets. If money is accepted into your life, it will want to hang around. If you reject it as soon as you get it, why should it keep coming back?

To get past money troubles, one has to believe that money will come to provide the environment where love, happiness, gratitude, integrity, joy and charity.

Personal Development Rocks!

Every time I participate in personal development, my life improves in ways that I never imagined were possible to improve! As a result, my success both personally and financially attain new heights.

As I wait for my plane to board, I am reflecting on the principals that I learned at the conference that I just attended and the enrichment to my life as a result of making the decision to do what it takes to move my life ahead.

Day One: I got to hear from and meet Dick and Rick Hoyt www.teamhoyt.com; a father and son team that travels the world to participate in the most challenging of races. They are in Hawaii to compete in the Iron Man in Kona, Hawaii. I learned from them that the word "can't" does not exist if you choose to put your mind to a solution for whatever challenge you face.

I also learned that your thoughts, words and actions produce a "vibration" and this vibration has the same effect as a magnet and will attract into your life whatever you put out there. Put out negative vibes and you will attract negative, put out positive and yes you guessed it, you attract positive into your life. Now this got quite interesting to see the actual affect this has on a molecular level on something like water (by the way, we are 70% water) as seen under a microscope. This was revealed through the science of Hado for more on this see www.hado.net I was quite impressed!

Day Two: Learning about Hypnosis and how it is essencially relaxing your mind so you are not restrained to act because of inhabition. Be a kid, sing, dance, do whatever feels good and do not worry about the way people think. I know first hand that this is easy to do if you allow yourself to break free from your own worry. I was one of 12 people that experinced Hypnosis on stage a the conference and it was one of the most liberating experiences of my life.

We also got to learn about music therapy, specifically the use of drum therapy from Christine Stevens who produces "The Healing Drum Kit" www.ubdrumcircles.com. Music also changes the chemical composition of your body and can be quite effective at reducing stress, anxiety and much more, besides it was also quite a bit of fun! Just before sunset we all gathered to participate in a "Drum Circle" the experience was also awesome and an event I look forward to doing again in the future.

There are moments in our life when we receive an unexpected treat. An unexpected cheque in the mail, a call from a long lost friend, somebody takes the time to hold open the door for you. We all like it when un-expected things happen in our lives and sometimes they happen when we need them most.

I came across this word that means so much, but I do not really believe that we understand it all that well. You see, we attract into our lives exactly what we focus on, so really, you are at this Blog because of some thing that you have thought about, desired, or have recently focused on.

1 : of the nature of a secondary result : indirect
2 : following as a result or effect : consequent
*3 : having significant consequences : important

Example sentence: Who would have thought landing on this Blog would be such a consequential moment in your life?

My point is that consequences are created by us, like it or not, that is how it works. You may associate consequences as a negative thing, but really it is a positive thing. Knowing that you can create your own consequences in your life is powerful knowledge and knowledge is power.

So, as you are reading this, you are likely wondering, what it is that you are going to benefit from here. Success - What You Have To Be Willing To Go Through - The Blackberry Story

I have learned that to be successful, you have to be willing to go through some challenges to get what you want. Nobody knows how many challenges you will face, in fact, you could face none. The point is there has to be a good enough reason to face the challenge for the reward that lies ahead.

My daughter and I went out to pick some blackberries and found that most of the blackberries, that were easily reached, had already begun to dry up because of their exposure to the sun. However, just behind them in their shade were some beautiful ripe berries. Now, we had a choice; do we risk getting pricked by the thorns to get the blackberries, for the reward of how much better they will taste, or do we settle for the dry ones on the surface that are easy to get. We went for the challenge; we went for the best!

After suffering the occasional prick and scratch, we gathered a bucket of fresh, plump, juicy blackberries, but only because we were willing to go through a little pain to get there.

Success is much the same way; if you look beyond the surface there is some great fruit; you will likely come accross some pricks as you move towards your goals, but don't let them distract you, it is worth getting by them to reap the rewards...the fruits of your labour!

Integrity, a simple word, but when it comes down to the person that you really are, Integrity, as you will soon understand, is everything.

As defined by Merriam Webster ( www.m-w.com )

1 conduct that conforms to an accepted standard of right and wrong -- see MORALITY

2 devotion to telling the truth -- see HONESTY

3 faithfulness to high moral standards -- see HONOR

To be a person of integrity is simply a choice, to deal only with people of integrity is also a choice, you see, you become who you associate with, so choose your associates carefully.

I made a choice long ago to be a person that acts in integrity and it pays off in spades. It is quite easy to operate with integrity, especially if you do it all the time.

As a child, I heard that if you always tell the truth, it is always easy to remember your stories.

People can pick up on people that lack integrity; think about this for a moment, have you ever met someone, or spoken with someone for a short time and sensed that you "Just don't trust" him or her? Or, do you get a "bad vibe" or "feeling" about someone.

We humans have some very fine antennas and they can pick-up when people are operating out of integrity.

If you want to be trusted and taken for your word, it is simple, practice the "Art" of operating with integrity 100% of the time. There will be times when the truth hurts, or when it would just be easier to tell a "little white lie", but it will catch up with you and it is a very slippery slope.

So I challenge you now, to always operate with integrity, be honest and truthful, act with honor and integrity and I promise you, your life will get better! People will be attracted to you and great things will begin to happen and the people you associate will notice a difference and will begin to practice the art.

Like many things, integrity is contagious, one by one, lets keep the art of integrity alive, well and flourishing.

Personal Freedom – Learn How To Attain It.

I was looking for some information and back-up support to determine what it is that is important to people; I am from Canada, so Canadian content is what I am familiar with. As we all know, we are human beings and we all have needs, the information that I found relates closely on an International level and is also proven to be timeless. So if we are desiring the same thing, that must mean that there is a challenge in attaining it.

Why is it that something that should be so, simple seemingly so evasive?

What is Personal Freedom?

Well, the dictionary has some definitions:

“Personal”: “of, relating to, or affecting a particular person”
“Freedom”: “the quality or state of being free: as a : the absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice or action b : liberation from slavery or restraint or from the power of another”

In 1956, Victor Gollancz, the British publisher wrote in an article titled “The Meaning of Personal Freedom” (here is a link to the document: http://www.manasjournal.org/pdf_library/VolumeX_1957/X-15.pdf )and had some great insights to share:

“WHAT is personal freedom? The really important thing to start with is this: personal freedom is essentially an inner thing; something inside a man; the presence of something in a man’s personality, not the absence of constraint from without.”

Hmmm, interesting, that has a bit of a different meaning than what we see in the dictionary under “freedom”, right?

He goes on to say: “This inwardness is the essence of personal freedom, and we get nowhere until we recognise the fact.” Later he says: “while it is possible, though very rare, for a man to be free when constrained or tortured from without, it is wholly impossible for a man to be free when constrained or tortured, by fear or guilt for example, from within. We see the comparison, that freedom is essentially an inner thing, a thing of the spirit.”

Make Money At Home

Make money at home and you will keep more of what you earn because you will not have a commute (except to the coffee pot), you will get to write-off part of your living expenses as business expenses (pay less in taxes) and it will be easier to plan your work around your life instead of the other way around.

There is no real good reason to go into an office any more, the technology is more than ready to allow for an effective process of working at home. Of course you may need to leave the house from time to time to complete business related tasks, or for the occasional meeting, but now that travel time and travel cost (gas, car insurance, food) becomes a write-off too.

If you choose to start a business, as opposed to working for someone else, you will make more money at home. The typical employee gets paid 1/3, or less of what they make for the company they work for (if the company is profitable that is), as the company has to provide an office, benefits and make a profit too. Think about this, you could effectively work 1/3 as hard and make the same money, or work just as hard and make three times the money, the choice is yours to make.

Regardless, decide to make money at home and you will be ahead in the process of making money and your life will be much more enjoyable too.

Business or Busy-ness

There is a difference between doing business and just keeping busy. It is one thing to be doing income producing activities and another to be just shuffling paper. There is no money made by cleaning your desk, filing, checking email, looking a the number of hits on your website; that is just busy-ness.

Business is planning your day in advance, setting some specific money making tasks to do in a timely fashion and accomplishing those tasks regularly. These may not be the most fun things to do and here is a tip; do the one thing that you likely rather not do, but if you did it, it would move your life and/or your business in the direction of your goals.

Message In A Movie

I just watched "Click" with Adam Sandler; this is a movie about a frustrated Architect that wants nothing more than success in his life and cannot get there fast enough.

By the way, if you plan on seeing this movie, I will be giving some of it away in this Blog, but it will still be worth going to see!

Adam plays a guy that is not much different than many of the people I know, people willing to sacrifice their lives and their families lives, with the great intention of bringing a better life for his family.

Because he has so much complexity in his life and wants to make things easier, he goes out to buy a "Universal Remote Control", well this device does more than turn on the TV! While working late his dog begins to bark, Adam points the remote at the dog and presses the volume down button and the dog becomes silent to him. His wife gets angry because he has to cancel a July 4th camping weekend and he fast forwards through the argument.

Well things get out of control when he finds that the remote begins to fast forward through his life and as he goes through it, he begins to realize that while he finally gets the success he has been chasing, it has cost his relationship with his wife and kids; the very thing he was working so hard for.

How ironic!

The message is to enjoy life, make family your priority and not trade everything for a promotion or just more money.

But where is the balance? Making money to support ourselves is necessary, working so much we destroy our family is not. The balance is found when you spend some time writing out all the things you want in your life and look around a little, you can figure out how to make the money you deserve, while living the life you desire.

Now you know there is an easier way, you just have to find it.

The work that I do here is for love and for money. I love to help people realize that they truly do deserve money in their life and they can live the life they desire if they choose to do so.

What I Read And Eat Controls My Life

I know that I am a product of what I put into my mind and my body; if I put the demise of the world via the news or read books that create negative thoughts towards those around me, I will be just that, full of doom and gloom. Same goes for the food that I eat; if I fill my body with junk food, pop and lots of booze, I feel lousy, sleep all the time and have no zeal for life!

I just started to read Power vs. Force - The Hidden Determinants of Human Behavior by David R. Hawkins, M.D., Ph.D. this book gets into how to become skillful in the control of your own mental power in a very simple way, taking away the need to force ideas or opinions on others. I recommend it! I have also recently read Think And Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker. These books have taught me how to use my mind to attain the things that I want out of life, things that I can use on a daily basis to make my life better.

Reading books on fitness, like the magazine Maximum Strength by Robert Kennedy, Body for Life by Bill Phillips help me understand how to properly learn fitness and nutrition.

For years I neglected my mind and my body, now I have taken control of what I put into both and the results in my life have begun to dramatically improve.

Communication - The Key To Success In Business

Communication with the Advisors and Peers in your business, is key to your personal success! This may be through online training, time on the phone, or in person with your Advisor, associating with others in your field at group events, or conferences.

Regardless, communication must be maintained at regular intervals; if you have an Advisor that you can access at almost any time, ensure that you respectfully take full advantage of that individuals time. Failure Is An Option!

Man, I have had enough, I am frustrated with the results I am getting in my life, I know I can get myself out of it, but what if I fail? I can fail and accept that failure, that is my decision to make right?

But I hate to fail, I hate to be rejected, I hate to do something that is new. Everyone around me seems to feel the same way and do not do anything about it, so why should I? And there is certainly no cheering section hoping that I will succeed, however, there sure are quite a few sitting back waiting for me to fail so they can say "I told you so".

So what should I do? Should I just decide to accept failure towards success as my only option, my only result? Why shouldn't I, nobody will really care anyway right?

Failure Is An Option.

However, I choose to accept Success as my option:

• I will continue to set goals, goals that many people feel are impossible, lofty and unattainable.
• I will continue to pursue absolute financial prosperity with crazy deadlines.
• I will continue to go down the path less traveled, the one with lots of risks.
• I will continue to bet everything that I have knowing that failure is an option, but every thing that I will do will be towards success.
• I understand that Success Is An Option Too and choose to focus on success.
• I know that failures will happen along the way, however, success has much more appeal and will keep me going.
• Failure does not seem like such a big deal if all I have to do is continue to focus on success to get there.

Or maybe I am just nuts and should just settle for my "Lot In Life"

NAH! I will continue to GO FOR IT; success is mine and that is my focus!

What I Learned From Millionaires

I learned from Millionaires...

• I deserve more money in my life!
• That most people do not feel that they deserve money in their lives because they simply do not know any better.

Why I Travelled Half Way Accross The World This Week

Yesterday we arrived in South Africa, now I live in Vancouver Canada and this was a 25 hour commute. I travelled this far because I deserve money. We are staying in Johannesburg right now and tomorrow, we are going to Sun City. Sun City is home to "The Place Of The Lost City", this place is awesome; it is one of the top hotels / resorts in the world.

So why am I here?
